We offer a wide range of advice services for people who live or work in the London Borough of Sutton. You can speak to one of our gateway assessors by calling 0208 405 3552 or by submitting a website enquiry here. Please select Citizens Advice Sutton when you submit a web enquiry.

Our lines are open 9 to 5, Monday to Friday. Our call centre is supported by volunteers who will direct you towards the best course of action. Due to high demand for our services it can sometimes be difficult to reach us by phone; if you find that this is the case please submit a web enquiry and we will contact you as soon as possible.

Debt Advice

We have a team of debt specialists who can advise on a variety of issues, including loans, credit cards, rent and mortgage arrears, Debt Relief Orders, bankruptcy and other areas. We are authorised to give debt advice and are regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority (authorisation number: 617761).

We can offer specialist advice for people who are considering, or wishing to make a complaint about health or social care services. The Healthwatch Independent Complaints & Advocacy Service aims to provide clients with the necessary information to understand their options, assist them in raising concerns and give practical assistance in navigating formal complaints processes. The service is provided by highly experienced volunteer advisers and is delivered in partnership with Healthwatch Sutton.

Legal Aid Housing

We offer advice and assistance for housing matters under a Legal Aid contract, as well as through our generalist service.

Our Legal Aid Solicitor is unable to assist with matters relating to localism, the housing register and housing benefit.

If you are a carer or have a carer you can contact the Carers centre in Sutton. Their staff and volunteers are trained and experienced to provide support, advice and information.

Parliament gave the Commission the mandate to challenge discrimination, and to protect and promote human rights. Their main catalyst is for change and improvement on equality and human rights.

The Equality Advisory Support Service (EASS) is an advice service aimed at individuals who need expert information, advice and support this service is apart of the Equality Human Rights comission. .

If you have an Enquiry relating goods or services you have purchased, The Citizens Advice Consumer Service can provide advice and support.
